Registration for OP’24 will take place in two steps:

Pre-Registration which will be open until 17 June 2024.
Full Registration which will start mid-June. Everyone has to complete the Full Registration, including all that are already pre-registered.

The OP’24 will take place over 5 days from 18 - 22 November 2024 at the headquarters of the UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC/UNESCO). It will be a 5-day, in-person event co-led with IOC/UNESCO and Mercator Ocean International.

We are not charging a registration fee so will provide the use of rooms, poster, etc. for free. However, we will require your individual contribution to pay for your catering needs (see practical info). At this point in time, we are not able to set the exact cost per individual but estimate it will be in the range of 150-200€ per person. We are intending to inform you about the catering costs and invite you to make payment at the full registration stage. 

The information requested during the Pre-Registration about student status and if you belong to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) or Least Developed Countries (LDCs) will be used to determine whether catering costs will be partially covered.
