About
I work as a reseach scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where I investigate oceanography and climate. As part of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, my work focuses on ocean modeling and the analysis of climate observations such as Argo profile collections and satellite data products.
My scientific interests include ocean circulation, climate variability, transport processes, interaction of biology and physics, global cycles of heat, water, and carbon. I use forward and inverse modeling, observational statistics, and machine learning methods. I have notably designed and produced the ECCO version 4 estimation framework.
